A Case of Pulmonary Thromboembolism with Infarction

Abstract
|
|
|
The patient was 19-year-old man with chief complaints of dyspnea, chest pain, hemoptysis and fever elevation for 3 days.
He received circumcision 10 days ago.
Film of the chest P-A showed pleural effusion and indistinguishable pneumonic infiltration.
Laboratory examinations showed leukocytosis and increased serum L. D. H. level.
The diagnosis was made by X-ray, laboratory findings and symptoms.
The treatment was symptomatic with heparin and dicumarol. He was discharged on 99th hospital day in healthy conditions.
